The Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst – Legal Systems at Intuitive is a strategic partner to Legal Leadership and Legal Operations, responsible for the comprehensive management, optimization, and execution of the enterprise legal technology platforms. This role is pivotal in translating the legal department's strategic priorities into scalable system capabilities that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen compliance, and mitigate enterprise risk.
Key responsibilities include serving as a senior advisor on technology strategy and process transformation, co-owning the Legal Systems roadmap, and driving measurable outcomes such as reduced contract cycle times and improved compliance reporting. The analyst will conduct analyses across core legal workflows, including contract lifecycle management, matter management, legal spend tracking, compliance, privacy operations, intellectual property tracking, and litigation support.
The role entails acting as the designated system owner for legal applications, managing backlog prioritization, defining release strategies, leading vendor evaluations, and ensuring systems adhere to legal-specific constraints like attorney-client privilege and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the analyst will translate complex legal requirements into scalable system configurations, perform hands-on platform configurations, define functional and technical specifications, design integrations with enterprise platforms, and oversee data integrity and security models.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise legal applications. Strong knowledge of legal processes, system integrations, data governance, and experience within structured SDLC or Agile frameworks are essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required.
Intuitive offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. The base compensation range for this role varies by region, with Region 1 offering $160,700 to $231,300 and Region 2 offering $136,600 to $196,600. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
