Senior Staff Software Engineer - IAM

OneTrust is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead technical strategy across multiple teams or a full product area. This role involves defining technical direction, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring staff engineers. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and offers an office-first culture with three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities include defining technical direction and architecture for a product area spanning multiple teams, partnering with staff and principal-level peers, and building formal cross-group networks. The role also involves establishing engineering standards adopted organization-wide and mentoring staff engineers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with over 12 years of professional software engineering experience. Experience with Java and backend application development, including designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale, is required. Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a plus. Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional setting is also desirable.
