Senior Solution Engineer - Federal
C3 AI is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform. This role involves engaging directly with customers to design, develop, and deploy production applications, demos, and proofs-of-technology. The ideal candidate will possess strategic and analytical aptitude, software development expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include leading development teams, managing individual project deliverables, and mentoring junior team members on coding standards and design techniques. The Senior Solution Engineer will also lead design and development reviews of customer software applications, test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications, and identify application performance bottlenecks to propose optimizations. Additionally, the role involves driving sales discussions on architecture and engineering, particularly explaining the C3 AI Platform and its interoperability with existing systems, and leading the delivery of technical deep-dives, demonstrations, and customer training.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, or a comparable area of study. Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages and experience leading engineering teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team are essential. US Citizenship is required, and an active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with CI Polygraph or greater is preferred.
