Senior Software QA Analyst
The Senior Software QA Analyst at Experian plays a pivotal role within the Technology department, focusing on developing, testing, and supporting reliable applications utilized across the organization. This position involves close collaboration with quality assurance, product, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions. Key responsibilities include promoting software features using established coding best practices, collaborating with Quality Assurance and Product teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements, writing and maintaining unit and integration tests to support application quality and reliability, participating in code reviews to provide constructive feedback, supporting release activities by validating builds and deployments, and troubleshooting issues in both non-production and production environments to contribute to root-cause analysis and fixes.
The ideal candidate possesses over three years of experience in software development or a related technical role, familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and collaborative development practices, experience with testing concepts such as functional, regression, or integration testing, and familiarity with cloud environments, with AWS experience being a plus. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented, inclusive approach to work are essential.
