Senior Software Engineer - Python

Experian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python to join our Product Development team. This role involves managing and enhancing our data distribution systems, ensuring the quality and interoperability of our segmentation and identity data. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote and on-site work.

Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving infrastructure-related issues, controlling data flow, and architecting next-generation data distribution systems. The engineer will oversee main production systems to ensure uptime and quality assurance, troubleshoot data delivery issues, and collaborate with the Chief Engineer of Data Distributions to align on strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of production-level experience with Python, proficiency in SQL for big data, and experience handling large datasets. Strong written and verbal English skills are essential, along with expertise in technical documentation and creating run books for new systems. Familiarity with AWS, data transformation using DBT, shell scripting, and a keen eye for detail are also required.
