Senior Software Engineer
Experian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Credit & Verification Services team. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our products by developing cloud-native microservices and web applications using the latest technologies and architectural patterns. You will collaborate closely with other software engineers to maintain existing systems and build new solutions that align with our business objectives.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance REST APIs 8.0 or above. You will work with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, and Lambda to deploy and manage applications. Additionally, you will write high-quality unit and integration tests using xUnit or nUnit, employing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to ensure code reliability and alignment with acceptance criteria.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with over eight years of development experience. Proficiency development, particularly 8.0 or above, is essential. Experience with AWS services, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and a strong understanding of architectural principles, including SOLID principles and design patterns, are also required. Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and experience with Entity Framework for data modeling are highly desirable.
