Senior Software Engineer (Backend Platform)
Fever, a leading global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend Platform) to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the backend services that power our user-friendly iOS and Android apps, as well as our website, reaching millions of users worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end features within your squad, participating in architectural discussions, and proposing improvements across our services and APIs. You will work with event-driven systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with Product, Data, and other Engineering teams to enhance our platform and developer experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns, and be proficient in business English. Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption) and knowledge of relational databases and SQL are essential. Familiarity with technologies such as Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, event streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes are highly desirable.
