Senior Software Development Manager, Engagement Growth

The Senior Software Development Manager, Engagement Growth at Twitch will lead one of three engineering teams within the Engagement Growth organization. This role focuses on enhancing viewer engagement through non-live offerings such as Video on Demand (VODs), Clips, and Stories, contributing to Twitch's mission of empowering live communities.

Key responsibilities include building systems that connect viewers and creators, designing and operating consumer-scale services for millions of daily users, and enabling AWS applications at scale. The manager will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to develop and implement features that enhance user engagement.

Candidates should have a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years as a software engineering manager and 5 years in software engineering. Proficiency in languages such as Golang, Python, C/C++, or Java is required, along with experience in designing scalable systems and delivering customer-centric product solutions.

The position offers a competitive salary, with ranges varying by location: $184,900 - $250,200 in Seattle, WA; $212,700 - $287,700 in San Francisco, CA; $203,400 - $275,200 in New York, NY; and $184,900 - $250,200 in Los Angeles and Irvine, CA.
