Senior Quality Engineer - SDET
OneTrust is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer - SDET to join our Engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and implementing robust test automation frameworks. As a Senior SDET, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle, contributing to our mission of enabling responsible data and AI use.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks that support various testing types, such as functional, integration, and performance testing. You will execute and oversee test cases, analyze test results, and provide meaningful insights to improve product quality. Additionally, you will mentor junior SDETs, foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning, and collaborate with development and Quality Engineering teams to integrate testing into the software development process.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience as a developer, automation engineer, or SDET. Proficiency in Java, strong knowledge of OOP principles, and experience with test automation tools like Selenium or Cypress are essential. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps, cloud platforms like Azure, and experience in testing mobile applications using Appium are also highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
