Benesch is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex transportation projects within our expanding Colorado division. This role involves both hands-on project execution and strategic oversight, contributing to the growth of our new office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation engineering and demonstrate the leadership qualities necessary to build and develop a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple assignments. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for developing junior staff, providing design and construction phase services, and assembling comprehensive project communications such as meeting minutes, technical documents, and reports. Additionally, the role involves contributing to local, regional, and corporate strategic growth initiatives.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with preference given to those with experience working with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and local agencies on the Western Slope. Strong leadership, communication, business development, project management, and client relation skills are essential. The ability to recruit new talent and work effectively in a team environment is also important.

The compensation for this position ranges from $135,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package includes a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
