Senior Product Manager (Containers)
Chainguard is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of its Containers product, focusing on delivering vulnerability-free container images that enhance developer workflows. This role involves close collaboration with developer customers and security stakeholders to define and build the future of Chainguard's container offerings.
The Senior Product Manager will drive the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring the delivery of products that streamline how developers adopt and build with Chainguard Container Images. Responsibilities include leading projects from ideation through launch, gathering and responding to customer feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Product Marketing, and UX. Additionally, the role involves representing the company externally in meetings with customers, prospects, partners, and industry analysts.
Candidates should possess a strong technical background, with prior experience as a developer or proven success in systems, networks, or related technical areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to engage deeply with customers and deliver outcomes. The role requires adaptability and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $156,000 to $195,000 USD.
