Senior Product Engineer, AIA Labs

AIA Labs, an in-house venture at Bridgewater Associates, is dedicated to leveraging state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate market returns. The team focuses on developing a general-purpose intelligence capable of performing systematic investment research. We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to evolve and scale our AI platform, enhancing research capabilities and empowering scientists and investors.

In this role, you will enhance our existing AI research platform by adding new components, expanding capabilities, and architecting systems that make research workflows faster, smarter, and more intuitive. You will lead the use of agentic development tooling and design systems that enable our scientists and investors to best utilize those same agentic capabilities. This position requires an AI-first mindset, technical excellence, product thinking, and natural leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 7–12+ years of experience in engineering, AI systems, or product engineering roles, with proven experience building AI-driven platforms or products. A strong understanding of machine learning systems and experience working closely with domain experts such as scientists, researchers, and analysts are essential. A track record of delivering comprehensive systems end-to-end is also required.

The anticipated onsite requirement for this role is four days per week at our New York City office location. The compensation range for this role is $1M - $1.5M (with upside), inclusive of base salary, discretionary target bonus, and long-term incentive. The expected base salary for this role is between 40-60% of this wage range.
