Senior Principal Solution Engineer
The Senior Principal Solution Engineer at OneTrust is a pivotal role within the Sales team, focusing on leading technical strategy for complex opportunities in the UK and Ireland. Key responsibilities include leading technical strategy for high-impact opportunities, building deep account alignment with various stakeholders, engaging with executive and practitioner stakeholders to connect governance requirements with business value, and leading discovery and solution design for complex enterprise programs. The role also involves providing deep technical expertise in OneTrust’s solutions, leading tailored demonstrations and technical evaluations, articulating OneTrust’s differentiated value, and acting as a strategic bridge between the field and Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership. Additionally, the Senior Principal Solution Engineer is expected to create reusable solution patterns, coach and mentor Solutions Engineers and cross-functional partners, and maintain accurate opportunity strategy and technical plans.
Candidates should have at least 12 years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, technical sales, or a comparable customer-facing enterprise technology role, with a track record of leading complex, strategic opportunities. Demonstrated success in shaping strategic sales motions through deep account alignment, executive engagement, and value-based solution design is essential. Experience across multiple enterprise solution areas, ideally spanning OneTrust domains such as privacy, AI Governance, data use governance, technology risk and compliance, third-party risk, and consent and preferences, is highly desirable.
