Senior Marketing and Events Manager
The Senior Marketing and Events Manager at WPP Media plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's marketing agenda, with a strong emphasis on proprietary events and business development support. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this position offers high exposure to senior stakeholders and directly impacts brand positioning and growth.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Marketing Director in defining and executing the marketing strategy and annual plan, identifying trends and opportunities to strengthen market positioning, and acting as a key interface with global stakeholders to ensure alignment and active participation in international meetings and events. The role also involves conducting competitive and market analysis to inform marketing and business decisions.
The manager will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of marketing initiatives, focusing on proprietary events. This includes overseeing the full lifecycle of events from concept development to execution, designing high-impact experiences ranging from exclusive C-level formats to large-scale events, and managing agencies and partners to ensure budget control and high-quality delivery. Additionally, the role supports new business initiatives by developing insight-led documents and presentations and contributes to go-to-market activities by creating strategic materials and positioning assets.
Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in Marketing & Communications, with strong expertise in event strategy and execution. Experience in corporate communications departments or PR agencies is a plus. The role requires strong project management skills, excellent stakeholder management, the ability to handle multiple complex projects in fast-paced environments, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English are also required.
