Senior Manager, EU Employment Law (Platform Workers)
Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Manager, EU Employment Law (Platform Workers) to join its Global Legal Logistics Team. This role is pivotal in managing regulatory and legal risks associated with platform work across the European Union, ensuring compliance and supporting the company's growth in the delivery sector.
The successful candidate will lead a team of EU employment lawyers across multiple jurisdictions, providing expert legal support in employment, immigration, and commercial law to Rider operations throughout EU markets. Responsibilities include overseeing employment litigation, monitoring regulatory developments, and developing strategies to mitigate legal risks. Additionally, the role involves enhancing legal processes and reporting within the Global Legal Logistics function.
Applicants must be fully qualified employment lawyers in an EU jurisdiction with over eight years of post-qualification experience, including a strong background in litigation and advising technology-driven or platform-based businesses. Proven leadership experience in managing legal professionals in complex, international environments is essential. Deep expertise in EU employment law, particularly regarding the Platform Workers Directive, and fluency in English and at least one other European language are required.
