Senior Manager, Cloud Operations
Conga is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Operations to lead and expand our DevOps and platform engineering team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Conga’s cloud infrastructure, which supports our suite of SaaS products. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Cloud Infrastructure & Operations and collaborate closely with software engineering, security, SRE, and product teams.
The Senior Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes (EKS) platforms, infrastructure-as-code practices, and the observability stack. Key responsibilities include driving infrastructure modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, container orchestration, and database platform optimization. The role also involves instilling strong change management discipline and operational excellence across the organization.
Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles within a SaaS environment, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Expertise in AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM) and Kubernetes is essential. Proficiency in building and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, enforcing infrastructure-as-code discipline using tools like Terraform, and implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging strategies is required. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining infrastructure engineers, are also necessary.
