Senior Litigation Paralegal
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Legal Department. This role involves providing comprehensive litigation support, including case management, research, and document preparation, to advance SPLC's mission of promoting racial justice and human rights.
Key responsibilities include assisting attorneys with case management, maintaining and managing case files, conducting research related to litigation and case development, preparing legal filings and briefs, coordinating depositions, assisting with discovery projects, and preparing exhibits and case correspondence for depositions, hearings, and trials.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of paralegal experience, a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrated experience in drafting pleadings and discovery, document organization and production, and proficiency in various software applications and databases. Strong project management skills, adaptability, analytical abilities, effective communication, and collaboration are essential.
The minimum starting salary for this non-exempt role is $69,702 annually ($33.51 hourly). SPLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
