Senior Litigation Paralegal
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Litigation team, which manages the company's global litigation risks. This remote position offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team committed to increasing economic freedom through innovative financial solutions. As a remote-first company, Coinbase emphasizes collaboration through quarterly in-person working sessions known as "surges."
In this role, the Senior Litigation Paralegal will provide advanced support to the regulatory and consumer litigation teams. Key responsibilities include managing timely and accurate responses to domestic and international subpoenas, summons, levies, liens, bankruptcies, garnishments, and other civil third-party requests. The position also involves preparing and filing litigation and arbitration case pleadings, as well as offering paralegal support for active litigation and arbitration matters in state and federal courts.
Candidates should have over eight years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with hands-on management of civil subpoenas, summons, levies, liens, garnishments, and other third-party legal requests at high volume. A proven track record in preparing and filing pleadings and supporting arbitration and litigation matters in both state and federal courts is essential. The role requires the ability to manage over 50 concurrent legal matters across multiple jurisdictions with competing deadlines, ensuring zero-defect accuracy in filings and correspondence. Familiarity with legal technology platforms for case management, document review, and e-discovery workflows is also necessary.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,780 to $146,800 USD, excluding equity and bonus eligibility. Total compensation may also include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
