As a (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/w/d) at Continental, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the legal integrity of our corporate structures within an international setting. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the development and enhancement of our legal organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include comprehensive legal support to the Legal Team, overseeing corporate housekeeping, and managing corporate law matters across our German and European subsidiaries. This encompasses the administration of individual companies, drafting and managing shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, and handling commercial register matters, all while adhering to relevant deadlines and regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and advancing a structured contract and document management system, organizing and attending notary appointments, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance along with proper reporting. Your role will also involve contributing to the strategic development of the company's legal structure, supporting legal projects, organizing data rooms, preparing presentations and decision-making documents, and coordinating with external legal advisors and notaries.
The ideal candidate holds a fully qualified law degree in Germany (2nd State Examination) and possesses initial professional experience focusing on corporate law within an internationally operating law firm or company. Fluency in both German and English, strong economic understanding, and the ability to work independently while being a team player are essential. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a structured and analytical mindset, and the capacity to quickly familiarize oneself with new legal areas are also required.
