Senior/Lead QA Engineer
Lucanet is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Data Import team, a cross-functional group responsible for integrating large volumes of customer financial data into our platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data that underpins our customers' month-end closing and financial reporting processes. As part of our engineering department, you will lead the transition toward a highly automated, AI-assisted quality assurance environment.
In this position, you will mentor software engineers to adopt developer-led testing practices, enabling them to write and execute their own tests confidently. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust end-to-end test automation frameworks capable of handling complex financial data and ERP-like navigation. Additionally, you will implement AI tools to generate tests, write code, and optimize QA workflows, while continuously evaluating and improving our testing architecture and strategies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA automation, particularly with TypeScript and Playwright, and a strong understanding of testing strategies and quality engineering methodologies. Proficiency in Java or Angular is highly beneficial, along with experience in testing complex systems with large data volumes, preferably within financial software or ERP systems. A proactive mindset and the ability to challenge existing processes and propose innovative ideas are essential.
