Senior Lawyer, Disputes and Investigations
Gilbert + Tobin is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its Disputes and Investigations team in Sydney. This team specializes in guiding clients through complex commercial and corporate disputes, offering strategic advice tailored to each client's commercial objectives. In this role, the Senior Lawyer will manage high-profile and intricate cases, including corporate and commercial disputes, regulatory investigations, class actions, commissions and inquiries, and corporate misconduct matters. The position involves developing and implementing strategies for dispute prevention and resolution, utilizing litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution mechanisms. Collaboration with clients to identify and manage risks is a key aspect of the day-to-day responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of six years' post-admission experience in broad commercial litigation. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. A demonstrated capacity to handle high-profile and complex matters is crucial, as is the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
