Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Lucanet is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our cross-functional team in Romania. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming our platform into a cloud-native, AI-driven SaaS solution. Lucanet is a leading CFO Solution Platform, serving over 5,500 companies worldwide with comprehensive financial software solutions.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will design and implement scalable core platform services that integrate seamlessly into the Lucanet ecosystem. Collaborating closely with product managers, QA, architecture, delivery, and DevOps teams, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications. You will also own the quality of your code through a Developer-Led Testing (DLT) approach, including writing unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests. Additionally, you will pair-program daily with AI tools to implement features, refactor code, and accelerate development while ensuring the correctness and security of the final output.
The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Java, and experience with Python, Node.js, or TypeScript is a significant plus. You should have experience building frontends using modern frameworks such as Angular or React. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch, is essential. A strong understanding of system design for scalability and observability, as well as the ability to design RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger, is required. Comfort and willingness to use AI coding assistants and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform are also important.
