Senior Full Stack Engineer
EarnIn is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to our Early Bets initiatives, which focus on developing new products and experiences to provide users with a comprehensive ecosystem of financial solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguous environments, excel at defining technical solutions, and work closely with Product teams to refine requirements. Experience in building end-to-end products from inception and designing scalable architectures is essential.
In this position, you will partner with Product and Design teams to define, build, and evolve user experiences across the full stack using modern frontend and backend technologies. Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of complex frontend systems with React, TypeScript, and Next.js, as well as developing robust backend services and APIs in Python with Django. You will establish and uphold engineering standards, drive cross-team technical initiatives, and mentor engineers across disciplines. Additionally, you will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies and monitor full-stack performance metrics to inform product and technical decisions.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience. Strong proficiency in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, is required. Proficiency in backend development using Python and Django, including RESTful API design and service architecture, is also essential. Candidates should have at least 4 years of industry experience with meaningful depth across both frontend and backend development. Experience working in cloud-based environments and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools are considered advantageous.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $210,000 to $257,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This is a hybrid position based in Mountain View, requiring in-office work two days a week.
