Senior Front End Engineer

EarnIn is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Front End Engineer to join our Early Bets team in Vancouver, Canada. As a pioneer in earned wage access, EarnIn provides real-time financial flexibility to individuals living paycheck to paycheck. The Early Bets team focuses on developing new experiences and products to expand our ecosystem of solutions.

In this role, you will partner with Product and Design teams to define, build, and evolve user experiences using modern frontend technologies. You will own and evolve the frontend architecture to ensure scalability, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, as well as establishing and upholding frontend engineering standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field and possesses expert-level proficiency in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Strong experience with frontend architecture, state management, component design, design systems, and performance optimization is essential. A minimum of 4 years of industry experience with significant depth in frontend or web platform development is required.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $199,800 to $244,200 CAD, plus equity and benefits. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work two days a week in our Vancouver office.
