Senior Financial Analyst
Chainguard is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our understanding of business operations and facilitate informed decision-making. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to develop and maintain financial models, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance insights. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating strategic initiatives into actionable financial scenarios, thereby contributing significantly to the company's growth and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include owning and continuously improving operating and cash flow models, translating strategic initiatives into financial scenarios, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities. The analyst will define and manage core business and sales KPIs, build dashboards for leadership decision-making, and ensure the accuracy and actionability of metrics in partnership with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams. Additionally, the role involves analyzing revenue, pipeline, sales efficiency, and unit economics to deliver clear insights and support high-impact ad hoc analyses.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role. Experience in consulting or high-growth startup environments, exposure to sales, revenue, or go-to-market metrics, and a strong track record of delivering results in fast-paced settings are essential. Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets, familiarity with planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan, and experience with business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI are also desirable.
