Senior DevOps Engineer

Experian is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline. The engineer will automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack. Additionally, the role involves implementing security best practices, collaborating with development teams to optimize deployment processes, and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

Candidates should have 5–8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with strong hands-on experience in designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell is required, along with experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. A solid understanding of CI/CD principles, container orchestration tools, and monitoring and logging tools is essential. Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
