Senior Data Scientist AI/ML
As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI and Machine Learning at Awin, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our AI/ML initiatives. Collaborating closely with business teams and data scientists, you will design, maintain, and enhance machine learning applications that drive our strategic objectives. Your expertise will contribute to developing Generative AI solutions and applications for the emerging Agentic Era.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing existing ML workloads and building new batch and on-demand pipelines to support advanced AI/ML models. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage systems for both agentic and traditional ML workloads, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance. Additionally, you will implement data quality checks, drift detection, and automated retraining processes to optimize cost, latency, and performance across all AI/ML infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, data engineering, or Computer Science with a focus on mathematics and statistics. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AI/ML data engineer is required, along with a strong foundation in computer science principles and statistical methods. Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), big data tools such as Spark and Databricks, and programming languages like Python is essential. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., MLflow) and natural language processing concepts is also expected.
