In this role, the Senior Data Platform Engineer will be responsible for scaling data infrastructure, streamlining data delivery, and implementing AI automation to replace manual operations. The position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including executive, product, data, and design teams, to provide support for data infrastructure challenges and implement self-serve solutions. Additionally, the engineer will develop AI-based analytical tools integrated with the data pipeline to provide insights into key business metrics, such as customer growth and operational efficiency.
Candidates should have over four years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure, with a strong background in Kafka, Python, and Scala. Proficiency in distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Experience with Databricks and AI-assisted development tools is advantageous. A deep understanding of database design, SQL, and NoSQL databases, along with expertise in data governance frameworks and data security principles, is also required.
