Senior Counsel

Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationwide AV-rated litigation firm specializing in insurance defense, is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their team in Orange County, California. Founded in 2002, the firm has grown to over 250 attorneys across 21 states, defending corporations, insurance companies, and their clients in civil litigation matters.

As a Senior Counsel, you will lead high-exposure cases, develop compelling case themes, and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials. You will work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, mentor junior staff, and maintain routine communications with clients to cultivate and strengthen relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved school, be licensed in California, and possess over eight years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage full case handling responsibilities are essential. Strong communication skills and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are also required.

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
