Senior Counsel
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-exposure cases within a firm renowned for its innovative approach to insurance defense and trial advocacy. As a Senior Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping case strategies and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
In this position, you will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials. You will develop compelling case themes, manage all facets of discovery and trial preparation, and provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys. Routine communication with clients and cultivating relationships with existing and future clients are also key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school and an active bar license in the State of California. A minimum of 8 years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation, is required. Experience handling insurance defense matters is preferred. Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills, are essential.
Tyson & Mendes offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
