Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for developing compelling case themes, independently handling court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials, and collaborating with attorneys at all experience levels. Routine communication with clients, cultivating relationships with existing and future clients, and providing leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys are also key aspects of this role.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school and hold an active bar license in the State of Pennsylvania. A minimum of 8 years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation, is required. The ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial, is essential. Experience handling insurance defense matters is preferred, along with proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong time management skills. Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills are also necessary.

The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating with $7,500 each.
