Senior Counsel, Parental Rights

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their Parental Rights team. This role focuses on leading complex litigation efforts to protect parental rights, directly representing parents and their children. The position reports to the Senior Counsel, Director of the Center for Parental Rights, and is based in Lansdowne, VA; Dallas, TX; or Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities include initiating and litigating complex lawsuits in support of parental rights, developing legal strategies and arguments, producing high-quality legal documents, representing clients in court, conducting advanced legal research, managing discovery processes, engaging with media, advising allied attorneys, and networking with potential allies. The role also involves collaborating with the Development team on speaking engagements and events.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Trial experience is strongly preferred.
