Senior Corporate Paralegal
Hippo Insurance is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to support its corporate governance and entity management functions. This role is integral to maintaining compliance and enhancing processes within a complex, multi-entity insurance organization. The position reports directly to the Chief of Staff, Legal, and is available in Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Morristown, NJ; and San Jose, CA.
In this role, the Senior Corporate Paralegal will oversee the governance calendar, ensuring the timely execution of all Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings. Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating agendas, board decks, resolutions, minutes, and written consents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. The position also involves advising internal stakeholders on corporate governance requirements, documentation standards, and compliance practices, as well as maintaining official corporate records such as minute books, charters, bylaws, and governance policies.
Candidates should have 6–8+ years of corporate paralegal experience, with significant focus on corporate governance and entity management. A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred, and experience supporting regulated insurance entities is strongly preferred. The role requires the ability to operate independently, manage complex responsibilities, and possess strong knowledge of corporate secretarial practices and entity compliance. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.
Compensation for this role ranges from $119,500 to $179,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
