Senior Business Applications Security Engineer
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Business Applications Security Engineer to join its Corporate Technology team. This role involves building a comprehensive security program for the company's diverse business application ecosystem, including platforms like Salesforce and Workday. The position offers an opportunity to transform a fragmented security approach into a centralized, proactive, and robust program.
The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing a business application security program from the ground up. Key duties include establishing role-based access controls, providing technical support for application access issues, conducting requirements analysis for new applications, managing API integrations, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with security standards. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior team members and identifying opportunities to automate and streamline workflows.
Candidates should have over eight years of experience in application security or related fields. Professional certifications such as CISSP are advantageous. Expertise in Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 is required, along with experience in SAML, OAuth, and SCIM protocols. Proficiency with automation platforms like Okta Workflow is also essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
