Senior Automation Engineer
Experian is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-native applications and platform services. This role is integral to our engineering organization, focusing on building robust automation frameworks and fostering a quality-first culture across teams.
The Senior Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, backend services, APIs, and distributed systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with software engineers early in the development lifecycle to ensure testability, building and maintaining comprehensive test suites, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, implementing API testing aligned with OpenAPI specifications, monitoring test environments, and conducting performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. Required skills include strong programming abilities in C#, proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation, experience in API testing using C# or similar tools, a solid understanding of AWS cloud services, familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and experience with performance and load testing tools like BlazeMeter or JMeter. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, are also essential.
