Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy, Marketplace

Wolt is seeking a Senior Associate for Finance & Strategy to join our Marketplace team, focusing on the Restaurant vertical. This role is pivotal in steering the financial performance of our core business across multiple countries, providing critical insights and strategic direction. The position is based in either Berlin or Helsinki, aligning with our dynamic and fast-paced company culture.

In this role, you will own the full profit and loss narrative for our Restaurant business, crafting analyses that inform leadership decisions. Responsibilities include writing variance commentaries for business reviews, diagnosing performance shifts across 30 countries, and providing actionable recommendations. You will also manage the budget for a multi-billion EUR transaction-volume business, setting regional allocations, tracking risks and opportunities, and leading rebalancing discussions when necessary. Additionally, you will define reporting standards to ensure consistent performance measurement and financial language across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in business control, finance business partnering, management consulting, or a similar analytical role. Strong skills in data analysis and working with large datasets are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. A solid understanding of financial statements and their interrelations is required. Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders in an international setting. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
