The Senior Associate, Commerce Programmatic at WPP Media plays a pivotal role in managing programmatic media activations across various retailer media networks and demand-side platforms (DSPs). This position is integral to the team responsible for developing audience and creative strategies, conducting competitive research, and overseeing the day-to-day setup, management, and reporting of programmatic media buys. WPP Media, as WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, combines media, data, and partnerships to deliver personalized creative solutions at scale.
Key responsibilities include executing campaign setups, providing bid recommendations, and managing budgets to ensure client objectives are met. The role involves optimizing client accounts to achieve established key performance indicators (KPIs), auditing digital creative tags for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with GroupM's established guidelines and best practices. Additionally, the Senior Associate prepares regular performance reports, identifies insights for optimization, addresses technical issues related to programmatic campaign serving, and assists with reconciliation, invoicing, and data mapping to internal media management platforms.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 2 years in biddable performance media execution or paid e-commerce is required, with a strong preference for experience in retail media programmatic execution. Proficiency in managing campaigns across multiple retail platforms such as Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Criteo, Google, and Meta is essential. The role demands basic analytical skills to develop insights that inform strategy and optimization, the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, and a self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range between $45,000 and $90,000 USD annually, with individual compensation varying based on factors such as location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
