Senior Application Security Consultant
Veracode is seeking a Senior Application Security Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with customers' security professionals and software developers to enhance application security. Veracode is a global leader in Application Risk Management, providing solutions that help organizations build and maintain secure software from code creation to cloud deployment.
As a Senior Application Security Consultant, you will explain vulnerabilities found in customers' code and provide coaching on remediation strategies. You will gain exposure to various programming languages, frameworks, and architectures, acting as a subject matter expert in application security. Your responsibilities will include introducing customers to Veracode services, assisting users in interpreting analysis results, guiding developers in utilizing Veracode tools, participating in sales efforts, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application-level security and secure coding practices, with at least five years of recent software development experience. A willingness to learn new programming languages on the job is essential. Excellent client-facing skills, strong technical writing abilities, and effective oral communication skills in English are required. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
