Seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal

In this role, the Civil Litigation Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys to provide comprehensive support throughout the litigation process. Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. The paralegal will also manage e-filing of court documents in both state and federal courts, coordinate communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, and conduct legal research and factual investigations. Additional duties encompass preparing discovery documents, coordinating depositions, organizing trial binders and exhibits, and assisting with case settlements.
Candidates should possess at least two years of litigation experience, with a preference for those who have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. An associate degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute, is required.
