The Scheduling Assistant (Entry Level) at Morgan & Morgan plays a vital role in supporting the litigation process by coordinating various legal events. This position involves close collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient scheduling and communication. Key responsibilities include scheduling depositions, doctor conferences, private mediations, and other events as requested by attorneys. The assistant will coordinate the rescheduling of court conferences to prevent time conflicts and ensure all litigation events are documented accurately in attorneys' calendars. Additional duties involve preparing formal notices for events, reviewing court dockets, confirming scheduled events with clients, and sending timely notifications to clients about upcoming events. The role also requires assisting with overflow tasks, entering new roles into the system, and uploading necessary documents to client files.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those with college education. Effective client communication skills, adaptability to a dynamic environment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities are essential. The role demands excellent oral communication, an outgoing personality, multitasking abilities, quick learning, and a team-oriented mindset. Reliability, strong comprehension and critical-thinking skills, proficiency in typing at least 35 words per minute, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are also required. Prior experience in business or medical scheduling is preferred but not mandatory.
