The Senior Deal Desk Specialist at Experian plays a pivotal role in managing complex, high-value, and non-standard sales opportunities. This position ensures that such deals are complete, compliant, and ready to progress through the sales lifecycle. As the primary coordinator between Sales and internal partners, the specialist oversees approvals, dependencies, and timelines to facilitate seamless deal formation.
Key responsibilities include conducting intake of complex sales opportunities to verify completeness and readiness for review. The specialist collects, reviews, and validates supporting documents, such as related agreements and previously approved pricing. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders—including Contracts/Legal, Pricing, Compliance, Vetting, and Billing—is essential. Additionally, the role involves tracking deal progress, managing dependencies, and holding stakeholders accountable to timelines and service level agreements.
Candidates should possess over seven years of experience supporting complex B2B sales processes and/or deal governance. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial, along with high judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in ambiguous situations. Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is preferred. Experience in identifying and driving process improvement projects is also desirable.
Experian offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $80,237 to $139,077, complemented by a bonus plan.
