Sales Manager

The Sales Manager drives individual and team performance by providing regular feedback, setting clear expectations, and addressing performance gaps to support ongoing growth. Additionally, the role involves supporting team members in complex negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring alignment with company policies and business objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in sales or account management, including at least two years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Proven success in managing opportunities and workflows using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is essential. Strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of financial markets—especially private equity and venture capital—and a passion for coaching and developing top-performing sales teams are also required. The candidate should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of thriving in collaborative team environments.
Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary of $172,500, with an annual on-target variable commission of $69,000 for fully ramped representatives meeting expectations. PitchBook currently has no cap on commission, which is determined by individual performance.
