Sales Engineer/Solution Architect (Contract)
Red Cell Partners is seeking a Sales Engineer/Solution Architect to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves collaborating closely with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into actionable product use cases and technical solutions. The company focuses on building and investing in technology-led companies within healthcare, cybersecurity, and national security sectors.
The primary responsibilities include partnering with Sales during discovery calls and technical evaluations to clarify requirements and success criteria. The role also involves translating customer problems into product use cases, designing solution approaches, and creating scoped implementation plans. Additionally, the individual will build rapid demo mock-ups and proof-of-concepts to validate workflows and accelerate deals.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Solution Consultant supporting customer-facing technical sales. Strong technical fluency is essential, along with excellent communication skills to lead conversations and build trust with customers. The candidate should be product-minded, capable of turning ambiguous customer input into clear requirements and prioritized next steps.
Compensation for this contract role is an hourly rate ranging from $80 to $110, depending on experience, skills, and other factors.
