The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Workstream plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by generating new business opportunities. This position is integral to the sales team, focusing on engaging with potential clients to introduce Workstream's innovative HR, payroll, and hiring platform tailored for the hourly workforce. Workstream is a mission-driven, Series B startup dedicated to empowering deskless workers and local businesses, serving renowned brands such as Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers.

In this role, the SDR is responsible for setting demo appointments with top franchise and corporate groups, collaborating closely with Account Executives to develop and execute strategic prospecting plans. Daily activities include reaching out to key decision-makers through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn using tools like Outreach, as well as utilizing prospecting platforms such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research and organize accounts. Additionally, the SDR supports the development of newer team members by offering shadowing opportunities and coaching.

The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of relevant sales development experience and demonstrates the ability to articulate Workstream's value proposition effectively. They should be creative and strategic thinkers with experience in building business cases and generating buy-in from decision-makers. A team-first mindset, strong project management skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with competing priorities are essential. Candidates must be committed to working onsite in the Lehi, Utah office five days a week.

Workstream offers a competitive salary and equity package, comprehensive health coverage—including medical, dental, and vision with 95% of premiums covered for employees and 85% for dependents—a 401K plan, pre-tax commuter benefits, a learning and development stipend, and flexible PTO. The base salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000 OTE in Utah, with additional discretionary bonuses and equity packages considered based on factors such as skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
