Sales Development Representative - West Coast
Smartsheet is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative II to drive sales pipeline generation and revenue growth. This role involves engaging with potential customers, setting qualified prospect meetings, and collaborating with sales teams to enhance account knowledge and relationships. The position is remote, targeting candidates located from the Central to West Coast regions, and reports to a Manager of Sales Development in the West.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, developing account knowledge through direct engagement and insight tools, and strategically prospecting key account targets and contacts. The role also involves holding engaging conversations over the phone and email, becoming a subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services, and managing multiple outbound sequence campaigns in the sales engagement platform.
Candidates should have experience in a Sales or Business Development role, a strong work ethic, and a competitive spirit. Essential skills include understanding customer pain points and requirements, managing multiple requests and time demands concurrently, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts, as well as resilience in dealing with adversity, are also important.
Smartsheet offers a competitive base salary of $50,000, along with employer-subsidized medical, vision, and dental coverage for full-time employees.
