Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at HopSkipDrive plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by initiating and nurturing relationships with potential clients, primarily large school districts across the United States. In this role, the SDR is responsible for researching and evaluating potential leads, establishing rapport with prospects, and employing a consultative sales approach to assess their needs. Daily tasks include cold calling and emailing identified leads, managing the sales funnel using Salesforce CRM, and meeting or exceeding established quotas for outreach activities. The SDR also qualifies leads expressing interest in HopSkipDrive's services and assigns them to Account Executives, thereby creating Sales Qualified Leads.
Ideal candidates for this position possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong sense of honesty, empathy, and curiosity for finding solutions for prospective customers, and experience handling objections. A collaborative problem-solving approach, strong time management skills, and proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office are essential. Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and a background in sales or the education sector are advantageous.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000, with an additional $20,000 in on-target earnings (OTE). As a remote position, compensation is adjusted based on the candidate's location. The total compensation package also includes equity stock options, offering employees a stake in the company's success.
