As a Sales Development Representative for Australia and New Zealand at Remote, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by identifying and engaging potential clients. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include responding to and qualifying outbound leads and inquiries, sourcing new sales prospects, and scheduling appointments for Account Executives. You will clearly communicate Remote's value propositions to potential clients, assess their needs to determine fit, and support the Account Executive team as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating and developing prospects, creating targeted prospect lists, and penetrating key accounts through various outreach methods, including cold calling.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in business development, particularly within a B2B SaaS technology company, and experience using core sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chorus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent listening abilities and a positive, energetic phone presence, are essential. The ability to think strategically and tactically, maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges, and demonstrate self-motivation and a diligent work ethic are also key qualifications. Fluency in English is required, and while experience working remotely is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.

Remote offers a competitive compensation package with On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $61,000 to $71,000 USD annually, with the base salary comprising 70% of the OTE.
