Key responsibilities include developing detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design, collaborating with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs and project requirements, and compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items. The engineer will also support studies and alternative analyses to determine the best solutions to meet compliance and client goals, work with various disciplines and reviewers to ensure complete, accurate, and high-quality deliverables, contribute to proposal development, manage small projects and project tasks, and assist Project Managers in overall large project delivery. Managing and maintaining project documentation is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or higher, a PE license (or the ability to obtain licensure through comity within one year), and a minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience. Experience working with public agencies, private entities, and/or municipalities is required, along with progressive experience in developing plans, specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements.
