Retirement Plan Administration Assistant, (ACI)
Allied Consultants Inc. (ACI), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retirement Plan Administration Assistant to join our team in Chino Hills, California. This full-time, on-site position involves assisting Account Administrators with the administration of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k), profit sharing, defined benefit, and cash balance plans. ACI, with nearly 40 years of experience, prides itself on delivering client-focused solutions with knowledge, integrity, and professionalism.
The primary responsibilities include gathering and organizing census information, assisting with compliance testing and Form 5500 filings, and performing general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, mailing, and answering phone calls. The role also involves supporting the preparation of plan-related documents, assisting with participant loan and distribution forms, and ensuring administrative service standards are met through proactive review of assigned plans.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, with prior experience in CalcAir/Datair preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to client service are essential. The ability to multitask, manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment, and a team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow within the retirement plan industry are also important. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $23 per hour. The total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program, which encompasses health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, as well as unlimited paid time off and flexible work options.
