Research Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Employee

This role is part of the Diligent Market Intelligence team, focusing on areas such as compensation, governance, activism, voting, and risk. The Research Analyst will serve as a subject-matter expert within a designated research vertical, overseeing third-party research workflows and refining data collection methodologies.
Key responsibilities include developing and continuously refining data collection methodologies to ensure accuracy and consistency, managing third-party research providers to ensure timely and high-quality data delivery, and producing management reports on daily workflows to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization. The role also involves training and supporting third-party providers on methodology and quality standards, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance quality controls and drive continuous improvement within the vertical.
Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in research or data analysis, data collection, or market intelligence. Advanced analytical and research skills are required, along with strong written and oral communication abilities for preparing and presenting complex reports. Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills are essential, as is a high attention to detail and a conscientious approach to quality assurance. Proactive problem-solving and team collaboration are also important.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in additional European, Korean, or Japanese languages, mastery of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and prior experience with SQL and running queries.
